28-layer flexible protective system
Protection that moveswhen seconds matter.
The Shield™ is a patent-pending civilian protection concept designed to be flexible, portable, and rapidly deployable—built through transparent iteration and documented preliminary testing.
In the current Model 002 test at Energetic Labs in Phoenix, Arizona, both 9mm and .44 Magnum threats were stopped after penetrating 5 of 28 Kevlar layers. Because neither threat pierced through the armor, both partial penetrations are passes.

Why The Shield™ exists
Society demands a new standard of personal protection.
Existing protective products are often rigid, conspicuous, or designed around military use. The Shield™ program asks a different question: can advanced flexible materials become practical, portable protection for everyday civilian environments?
- Flexible rather than rigid
- Designed for rapid positioning
- Built around civilian portability
The environment
Threats develop quickly. Data deserves context.
Every figure stays attached to its original definition, period, and source. We do not combine incompatible datasets into a single dramatic claim.
officer-involved engagements occurred at 15 feet or less
A distance-based proxy for how quickly an immediate threat can develop. This is police after-action data, not a civilian incident estimate.
